Some Bad News Y'all

Well, today my dad and I went to see his doctor about his latest CT scan. The news was not good. He has 6 or 7 lesions on his brain and the tumor in his lung has grown. He is going to go through radiation in the next week or so to try to shrink the lesions on his brain. The doctor says the success rate is 15-20%. But we have to try.

We all are holding up pretty well, and have a lot of people praying for us and helping us. I just hope he will be in that 15-20% and get through this.

Holy Grail Eye Palette

Alright bitches, new makeup!! MAC's new Velvet Smoked Eyes palette is just perfect. From left to right, top to bottom the colors are Gentle Fume, Satin Taupe, Malt, Black Tied, Club, and Vex. This is the only eye palette I've ever bought where I love every color. I wear at least one of these everyday. They all look great with Tarte Cheek Stain in Tickled on your cheeks. It's peachy pink and smells just like plums. Yum. Anyhoo, you can get the Tarte Cheek Stain from sephora.com, and I got the MAC palette from Parisian mall in Little Rock.

New Lippie!!

Hey y'all...here's my new Dior Lipgloss. It's Dior Addict Ultra-Gloss #851. I usually can't wear red since I'm fair-skinned and blonde, but this looks great on me with a little bronzer as blush and some light brown eye shadow. Love it!

New Favorites

I found 2 new gorgeous candles on Friday. The first one is from Powder & Smoke in Little Rock. It's called "Queen for A Day". It has a heady gardenia-floral smell. It's beautiful. The second candle is from the Lollia line. It's called "Inspire" and is a really soft vanilla scent. I got this at Bella Boutique in The Heights. Bella is my absolute favorite place to shop. They have all of the hard to find brands like Kiehls, MOR, DermaDoctor, Lip Fusion, Bella Beauty, and Jacqua. Loves it!!!

My New Boo-Boo

These are Sugar Bear's new brothers and sister. I'm getting the fat one on the bottom. I'm naming him Twinkie.

New Nail Polishes!

Here are my new polishes. The first one is Bitches Brew by Lippmann Collection. It's a dark, blackberry shimmery polish. It looks beautiful on toes. The second is OPI in Sweet Heart. It looks great on fingernails. The next one is the OPI classic red I'm Not Really a Waitress. And the last one is OPI's Star-ring the Rockettes which is a violet color and shimmery. They are gorgeous winter colors. I bought the OPI polishes at Caracalla on Kavanaugh in Little Rock, and Powder and Smoke boutique in Little Rock has Lippmann Collection polishes. Check them out.

Think I'm Obssessed?

I love fragrances. Some people collect stamps, coins, nose goblins, whatever. I collect perfume. I love the different bottles and smells for all of my different moods. My newest fragrance is the Juicy Couture fragrance which is on the top shelf in the middle. It has a fruity smell when you first spray it on, but it dries down to a vanilla patchouli scent. I love it.

I've recently discovered the Guerlain line of perfume which is a perfume house that has been around a long time. Insolence smells amazing. It has a violet/powder smell with a little berry scent in it. It's beautiful. I also bought L'Instant which is second on the left on the bottom shelf. It too has a powdery smell and is very elegant.

Others in my collection going left to right, top to bottom are Glow by J.Lo, Demeter's Sugar Cane, Juicy Couture, Demeter's Honeysuckle, Miami Glow by J.Lo, Miss Dior Cherie, Aqualina's Pink Sugar, Benefit's Maybe Baby, Britney Spears's Curious, Insolence, my collection of roll on perfumes including Kai perfume oil (smells like pure gardenia) and the Philosophy fragrances Baby Grace, Pure Grace, Falling in Love made by Barbara Lyons in Conway. The bottom shelf contains Chocolate Fantasy by the Tutti Dolce line from Bath & Body Works, L'Instant, Fracas, Burberry Tender Touch, Marc Jacobs Blush, Lemon Sugar by Fresh, Still By J.Lo, and Stila's Midnight Bloom.
