Dammit I Want This Too

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
What's wrong with me? I'm like a perfume hoarder or something. In a few years, my whole house will be filled with perfume bottles and boxes and I'll have to make little tunnels and paths through all my rooms and when I die, no one will find me for 2 years because I'll be under 4 feet of boxes and the smell will be masked by J.Lo perfume and body lotion. Please help me.

Anywho, here's what Cherry smells like according to sephora.com:

Cherry blossom season is an important and symbolic time of year in Japan. It marks the end of winter and the rebirth of nature with deep philosophical meanings: The cherry blossom (sakura) represents absolute beauty and is a reminder of the ephemeral nature of life, and the cherry fruit is a symbol of harmony. It's only natural that Japanese designer Masaki Matsushima captured this facet of his country's culture and rendered it in a conceptual perfume.

It is quite a challenge to create a feminine fragrance that is based on the cherry without it falling into the category of edible scents used in liquors or candies. Jean Jacques, Masaki's "nose," managed this subtle combination of the mat; base with a cherry top and blossom heart.

Notes: Cherry, Blackcurrant, Bilberry, Watermelon, Lotus Flower, Cherry Blossom,
Sweet Pea, Raspberry, Crystal Musk, Blackberry.

Style: Feminine. Inspiring. Soft.

I know this sounds morbid, but mydeathspace.com is one of the most interesting, sad, and touching sites I've ever been to. It posts articles with links to people's myspace sites who have died. Most of them are deaths due to car wrecks and drug overdoses, but some are bizarre. This isn't a sick or exploitative site, and if you like unusual sites, then you should visit this one.

Elizabeth Arden's New Scent "Mediterranean"

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I love this new scent! I think it's going to be my next perfume purchase. I smelled it at Parisian and has a floral/sandalwood smell that I just adore.

From bellasugar.com:

Elizabeth Arden Mediterranean was inspired by Catherine Zeta-Jones and her love of and fondness for the Mediterranean Sea. It was created by perfume artisan Claude Dir, who successfully captured the essence of Capri and Sardinia, where blue skies and warm sea breezes meld with the smell of mountains and warm sand.

The fragrance features floral and wood notes such as peach nectar, sorbet, wisteria, sandalwood, mandarin plum, star magnolia, orchid, musk and amber. The feminine, oval bottle is made from cerulean blue heavy glass, ostensibly to match the color of the sea. The cap is hammered silver—a gorgeous compliment to the icy blue fluid.

Loves it!

First Lindsey, Now Matt Roloff!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

He really needs to stop hanging around Lohan.

I can't believe this sweet little midget drove drunk. He probably took two sips of wine and was blitzed. Although, he was the irresponsible one on the show. I bet Amy's gonna divorce his ass. I wonder how they'll address this on the show. From tmz.com:

The pint-sized pop on the TLC reality show "Little People, Big World" has been hiding a pretty big secret -- he was busted for DUI last month.

According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, 45-year-old Matthew Roloff was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of intoxicants, around midnight on June 19 after cops claim that Roloff's van had been swerving on the road.

Roloff, who then failed a field sobriety test, was taken to Washington County Jail, where he was cited and released.

Jesus, I would pay to see the video of his field sobriety test.

Sideshow Bob Arrested in North Little Rock

From msnbc.com:

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Corey Clark has been arrested on drug charges and an outstanding warrant from Arizona, authorities said.

The former "American Idol" contestant was being held at the Pulaski County jail pending a court appearance Tuesday in North Little Rock, said John Rehrauer, a spokesman for the sheriff's department.

Clark was arrested near Interstate 40 at about 2:30 a.m. Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Rehrauer said.

A warrant had been issued for Clark after he failed to appear in an Arizona court on a summons stemming from an arrest last year for violating a court order and trespassing.

Clark was disqualified after reaching the finals of the popular Fox TV show in 2003 for failing to reveal a previous arrest.

He later accused "Idol" judge Paula Abdul of coaching him and initiating an affair. She denied his allegations, and Fox cleared Abdul of any wrongdoing.

I wonder what he was doing in Arkansas?

Anyone Tried These?

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket
I was thinking about getting some of these, but I didn't know if they smelled OK. Has anyone tried Sea Island Cotton, Dancing Waters, or Freshwater Cucumber?

Fezzie!

Here's Fez Marie Whatley on the stripper pole. He's even gayer than I imagined! Going by the stage name "Tiffany", Fez dazzles the O&A crew with his sexy ensemble and huge man boobs.

Products I Hate

I love trying new stuff, and, of course there's gonna be some stuff I come across that just blows. For example, the whole DuWop line of cosmetics, lotions, etc. I bought their Butter Cream Lotion that US magazine said was really popular & smelled so good just like butter cream frosting. Looking back, I think it was actually frosting. It had the most disgusting texture and was really sticky. I used it once then Sugar Bear got into it and chewed up the bottle (that gave me a really good excuse to throw away a brand new bottle of lotion. Thanks S.B! Good boy). Here's some other crap I wouldn't waste my money on...again:

Too Faced Lip Injection. Holy shit, this stuff hurt so bad. I got this as a sample with my last Sephora order. It does plump your lips, but it felt like I had a million bees stinging the hell out my lips. I accidentally got some on my tounge too and had to deal with that. Never again. If you want a lip plumper use Fusion Beauty lip gloss. It's even got the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval y'all:

My next disappointment was Carol's Daughter's "Ocean" fragrance. I swear this smells like crayons, and when I think of the ocean, the lovely scent of a Burnt Sienna or Magenta crayon do not come to mind. No.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I always hear that L'Occitane hand cream is the best, blah, blah, blah. It's sticky and doesn't sink into the skin to moisturize - it just sits on top of your hands and gets sticky. Gross.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I really wanted to like the LORAC lip polish, but I just couldn't. It's goopy and sticky and God help you if the wind blows your hair into your face.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

My last disappointment is Benefit's Boo Boo Zap. This is the only Benefit product I've tried and didn't like. It's supposed to get rid of zits. It didn't do anything. Nothing. The pimple was still there. Boo Boo Zap, you are a failure and God hates you.

What pieces of shit have you come across?

Hair Stuff

I had a really great hair day. These are my favorite hair products:

I love this Phyto shampoo for color treated hair, and I use it with my Frederic Fekkai conditoner. They make your hair so shiny and soft

After drying my hair I use Johnathan Product Hair Serum for extra shine.

I highly recommend these products which can be found at sephora.com

I Heart Sephora

It's payday & time for a Sephora spending spree! Here are the new purchases:

Lemon Ginger Mint Manicure In A Jar

What it is: Hand exfoliant.

What it is formulated to do: Smoothes and soothes rough, dry, calloused hands, elbows, and feet, resulting in a fragrant, refreshing, cooling effect.

A light lemon scent mingles with Bulgarian rose absolute to create an unforgettable moisturizing experience. Bulgarian rose absolute is suitable for all skin types and aids in cell rejuvenation. I'm hoping this will help me with my pimple scars on my chin. I'm so fair-skinned that every pimple I get leaves a darker scar.

Steep Clean is an intensive enzymatic mask that, once activated, visibly dissolves blackheads, dead cells, dark spots, and debris, leaving your skin peachy-clean. It's a do-it-yourself facial, in fifteen minutes.
To use: Squeeze a grape-sized measure into the palm of your hand and blend the blue and yellow compounds together until they turn green. Massage onto the face, paying particular attention to those areas where blackheads, and congestion occur. Leave on 15 minutes then wipe off with a warm, wet washcloth. Use once per week.

I've got those stupid bumps on my upper arm and this is supposed to get rid of them. We'll see.

KP Duty Body Scrub
What it is: A dermatologist body scrub with chemical and physical medi-exfoliation.

What it is formulated to do: Medical-quality exfoliation requires more than scrubbing. Dry skin, flaky patches, and "chicken skin" bumps are held together by bonds that physical exfoliation alone can't break. KP Duty body scrub delivers serious medi-exfoliation for deeper, more thorough results. This dual-action chemical and physical exfoliator blends the best of a chemical peel and microdermabrasion into a single, easy-to-use treatment. Smooth, non-abrasive, synthetic beads lift away dead skin cells.

What else you need to know: This enhanced exfoliation helps prepare skin for self tanning and post-bathing treatments (including body acne, keratosis pilaris (chicken skin bumps), shaving bumps, ingrown hairs, and bleaching) and is infused with green tea and willow bark to reduce irritation and redness typically associated with routine in-office exfoliation.

I love the Philosophy brand. I hope this is a good cleanser. I usually use Clinique cleanser, but I like to try new products.

Purity Made Simple: Philosophy's Purity Made Simple is their very best, high-powered, one-step facial cleanser. It rapidly dissolves dirt and makeup, deep cleans the pores of your skin, plus is pH balanced. Contains sage, chamomile, and carrot infusions. Philosophy has designed a collection of products to soothe even the most dry and sensitive skin. It will do wonders for your complexion.

I've tried the Bourjois lipstick, and it was beautiful with great staying power. I hope I'll love the gloss as well. I got this in Rose Doux 34, a rosy nude color

CARGO shadows are gorgeous. I was really impressed with their other palettes, and Paradise Island looks beautiful. Shades include: rose shimmer, burnt rose shimmer, soft bronze shimmer, sheer peachy-opal sheen, and rose-brown shimmer.

Sephora Body Oil and Body Butter made my skin soooo soft. I hope the whipped body butter is just as good. I'll let you know if I like them.

Looking Gorgeous

I love J.Lo's dress!

Erock Tests Out the Stripper Pole

Tracy the PD at the station gave Opie and Anthony a stripper pole to put in the studio. The only problem is they aren't allowed to have naked chicks in the studio, so Erock (their producer they constantly berate) has to break in the pole:

Fez stripped this morning. If they put a video out, I'll post it. It's way funnier than Erock.

I Want to Marry Jim Norton

If you don't have satellite radio, get XM. I promise you'll love it. I discovered Opie and Anthony and Ron and Fez on channel 202, and now I have to listen every day. If you are easily offended, don't listen, but if you have a sick sense of humor like me, you'll laugh your tits off. Jim Norton is my new favorite comic and he's part of the Opie and Anthony show. I found his ringtones on the O & A site:

My Redecorated House

We've been doing so much work on the house trying to fix it up and brighten it up some. I decided to decorate with a Beach Cottage theme. If you haven't seen the pictures on my MySpace, here they are:

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here's the dining room. I've still got to paint the table legs white and put the new blinds up. I love the coral rug and Robyn and Marie helped me set up the table and chandelier. I bought the chandelier at lampsplus.com. They have beautiful lighting. I got new plates with seasells on the border and used coral I got from potterybarn.com as a centerpiece.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Here is the new living room. We got an LCD TV from Best Buy and a smaller entertainment center from Haverty's. The seashell lamp is from TJ Maxx here in Conway. Marie and Robyn got me the seashell candle holder from either TJ Maxx or Pier 1.

Here is the beautiful kitchen/breakfast room. I love the wall color. It's called "Chilled Cantaloupe." I also had the cabinets painted white. This is also the infamous room where I fell off the chair & broke my ankle.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

I made these from canvas boards, raffia & sea shells & a starfish.

Here's the mantle. I got this idea from a magazine.

I'll post more as we get everything in!

The Comeback

Hey it's me. No, I'm not dead. It's just been a fucked up year. I'm going to try to keep up with this blog as best I can. I have extra time to post now since I'm off work for a while due to a broken ankle. A lot's been going on lately, so I'll try to catch everyone up.

Hugs and kisses,

JenJen
